A beautifully handwoven bamboo basket with lid and raised legs, discovered in a traditional Kyoto storehouse over 100 years old.
Originally used for storing vegetables, grains, and rice, it now makes a charming storage piece for bread, snacks, dried foods, textiles, or small household items. The bamboo has developed a rich amber patina over time, showcasing the warmth and character of age.
Wear, minor imperfections, and color variations are consistent with its age and add to its unique history and charm.
Please note that this is a vintage item and shows signs of age and use.
